作者簡介
鄺炳釗博士
鄺炳釗博士先後考獲神學士（建道神學院）、文學士（美國哥頓大學）、法律學士（倫敦大學）、法律深造文憑（香港大學）、文學碩士（美國惠敦大學）、哲學博士（美國伯蘭代斯大學，主修中東上古史和語言）等學位。
鄺博士曾任香港中國神學研究院舊約講師十年，也曾任建道神學院、播道神學院、台灣中華福音神學院客座講師。鄺博士曾在香港執業大律師。
鄺博士現於愛城華人基督教福音堂牧會。
序言
十多年前，我認識鄺炳釗博士時，他嚴謹的治學態度給我很深的印象，我當時就覺得他將來對華文的神學著作必有好的貢獻。現在他的「但以理書註釋」出版了，果然使我們不失所望。
鄺博士以他所受優良的神學教育，是華人教會中不可多得的舊約學者，再加上他敬愛神的話的心，和嚴謹的思想，寫出一本極平衡的預言註釋。
「但以理書註釋」有學術的深度，屬靈的敬虔及客觀、公正的解經，對預言書的解釋是一真正的供獻。

自序
但以理書是一本複雜難懂的書卷，難怪有這麼多種不同的解釋。另一方面，但以理書卻是現今世代不可以忽視的一本經書，它教導我們在任何環境中仍要對神忠貞，矢志不渝，因神是掌管萬有的主宰，是可以信賴的真神；這是現今瞬息萬變世代最需要的信息。為此，我們不能因但以理書難懂而不加以研讀，應該排除萬難，細心探索，從但以理書獲取適切的提醒和勉勵，聽見神為這個時代所敲奏的巨響。
「但以理書註釋」是筆者的處女作。筆者知道自己屬靈的理解不足夠，寫作的技巧有許多地方尚需改善；祇盼望父神用這本註釋，幫助弟兄姊妹了解但以理書的信息。
除了感謝父神叫我在極困難的境況下順利完成這本註釋之外，筆者特別感謝李色艷姊妹抄寫了本書大部分的初稿，以及許寶娟姊妹為本書部分初稿加以潤色。筆者也感謝陳惠榮和高明發兩位編輯為本書的印製付出不少心血。筆者更感謝鮑會園牧師審閱本書的初稿，又為本書撰寫序言。最後，筆者衷心感謝史丹理基金會（特別是許書楚長老），資助了本書全部的出版費用；他們財力的支持，促成了聖經註釋這項寫作的計劃。

緒論
大多數的華人基督徒都十分重視但以理書，因為書內有關但以理和三個朋友的事蹟都是我們所熟悉和喜歡的，它的異象和有關將來的預言（如七十個七）更叫我們聯想起主耶穌第二次的降臨。可惜，許多人雖然喜歡但以理書，卻甚少讀它，因為它是一本不易懂的書卷。
其實，讀但以理書是可以鼓勵我們仿效但以理和三友對上帝的敬虔和忠貞，也叫我們明白聖經的預言如何得以應驗。
但以理書是舊約啟示文學的代表作，與新約的啟示錄有密切關係。祇要我們熟悉但以理書的背景，明白啟示文學的特性，便可以了解但以理書的內容和教訓。
